Wall – Ceiling
BETA SMALL P-PL
Beta, designed by Paolo Franzin, is a wall and ceiling lamp that plays with the nuances of its light source. Its simple gradient of color on a glass plate results as a beautiful white when turned off but becomes a display of beautiful fading sand colors when illuminated. The result is something in between a functional lamp and a work of art. The LED light source can be easily replaced by the user.
A graduate of the University Institute of Architecture of Venice, Paolo Franzin works in the field of industrial design. He mainly collaborates with companies in the lighting sector, but not only. In particular, he specialises in topics associated with glass, experimenting on both traditional and innovative materials, verifying their combination and attempting to reach the product definition through a limited number of signs.
